Keyshia Cole Reflects On How She Lost Eve As A Friend After Putting The Paws On A Female
On the latest episode of TV one’s “Uncensored” the singer Keyshia Cole details the moment she had to put her paws on a woman and she believes that’s the moment Eve cut ties with her.
“I turned around and slapped the girl,” Cole described in the clip shared to TV One’s Instagram page. “Eve was really pissed off about that and we stopped hanging out.”
She had a hard time of understanding why the raptress didn’t stand behind her saying, “I just slapped someone for you, what the f**k is this?” She added, “But it taught me a lot.”
“I should have left that to security,” she admits in the clip. “Somebody get’s paid for that, you know what I mean?” The songtress referred her reaction from being an Oakland, California native.
“When I came straight from Oakland, it was still in me,” she said, adding that when “disrespect” would occur in the neighborhood she grew up in, the reaction was fight or flight. “It took a long time [for me] to learn to not put my hands on people.”
