Kevin Spacey To Star In Film About Pedophilia 3 Years After Felony Sexual Assault Charge

In 2017, after a dozen or so allegations of sexual assault (in the U.S. & U.K.), Kevin Spacey was eventually hit with a felony sexual assault charge in 2018 and in January 2019 he plead not guilty. In July 2019, the criminal charge was dropped, but he still faced a slew of other allegations, which continued to derail his career. Now, nearly four years since his first mainstream accusation (by Anthony Rapp), Spacey’s set to star in a film about pedophilia.

In addition to his 2018 charge being dropped and having three of his accusers pass away ahead of any trials (one by suicide, one by car accident, and a third by an unreported cause), Spacey lost his role in Netflix’s ‘House of Cards,’ had his movie ‘Gore‘ shelved, and faced additional blows to his career and personal life.
