Kevin Samuels’ Family Says GoFundMe Created To Pay For Funeral Expenses Is FAKE! – Refuses To Accept The Money
The family of Kevin Samuels is setting the record straight on reports about his funeral.
As we previously reported, a GoFundMe was created to help pay for his funeral expenses; a move that raised a couple of eyebrows. Initially, many people called Kevin’s family hypocrites for seeking financial help since he always preached a message of financial independence without handouts. One person tweeted, “A gofundme is needed to pay for your funeral and you had the nerve to call black women low value.” Another added, “So000o you mean to tell me, that there is a GoFundMe for Kevin Samuels Fune???? I would donate but my low valued ass ain’t got it. My fune expenses are covered when I’m gone tho.” A third said, “Kevin Samuels was teaching yall to be high-value men, and his family needa a gofundme to bury him??? I have to laugh lmao.”

Speaking to TMZ, the family is now revealing that the GoFundMe was actually created by an imposter. A source told the outlet that GoFundMe offered Kevin’s family the few hundred bucks raised on the fake page but they refused to accept it, so it was returned to donors. GoFundMe has since scrubbed the fundraiser from its platform.
Samuels rose to social media fame for videos where he gave controversial relationship and dating advice, many to Black women. Kevin eventually gathered a whopping 1.4million subscribers to his account. Samuels also worked with Future earlier this year on a trailer for the rapper’s single titled Worst Day. On Instagram, he had an impressive 1.2million followers. He had a career in marketing before leaving the industry in 2013 and pivoting to his own image consulting firm.
