A judge has reportedly ruled Thursday that Tasha K’s interview with Kevin Hart’s former assistant won’t be removed for her website. “It’s just a really vague, over-broad request that doesn’t address actual malice,” a Los Angeles judge said, according to Rolling Stone.

Hart’s lawyer, Donte Mills responded to the news and said  “There’s no questioning them. There are things said by the speakers that are illegal. It’s defamatory, it’s extortion, and it absolutely shows malice on their part,” Mills argued. “Not once was there ever any claim stating that my client committed a crime until this video. I think that’s important. Adultery is one thing, but adultery is not illegal.”

As we previously reported, Kevin Hart sued the controversial YouTuber towards the end of December for extortion after she allegedly threatened to release an interview with his former assistant who made some wild allegations about the comedian.

The Blast revealed what was stated in the cease and desist letter that was sent to Tasha K back in November before the interview was released which briefly reads, “You have already engaged in criminal conduct and tortious acts that would entitle Mr. Hart to monetary damages against you should he elect to commence civil litigation regarding this matter. To the extent that you do not cease and desist now, your liability for such monetary damages will increase, as will your exposure to criminal penalties.”

Hart’s legal rep, Donte Mills, says a person and Tasha K’s team told them that they would release the interview if the “Ride Along” actor paid $250K. The documents claim the act falls “under Penal Code Section 518” and that it “gives rise to both criminal and civil liability against you and anyone involved in your efforts to extort Mr. Hart.”

Thus, making Tasha’s alleged “effort to extract payment” from the father of four by “threatening exposure of information supposedly harmful to him is a textbook example.”

It also being stated that Hart’s team reported Tasha K’s action to the police and said that the interview “with Mr. Hart’s former assistant Miesha Shakes that supposedly includes scandalous assertions against him.”

Adding, “In advance of your threatened publication of the Story, you posted a “teaser” with Ms. Shakes on YouTube which clearly was intended as a threat, sending a message to Mr. Hart’s team that the more detailed Story would not be published if – and only if – the ransom is paid.”
