In a new interview with Fox 5, Kevin Hart took the time to address some of the comments Katt Williams made about him during a recent episode of Club Shay Shay.

While speaking to the news outlet, the interviewer congratulated Kevin on how hard he works and while promoting his new movie “Lift” that’s coming out on Friday the comedian shared how he looks at Katt Williams’ recent comments as just entertainment. “You don’t entertain a circus you watch it and when the lion comes out and ride the bike you don’t think about it too hard you just go ok that’s crazy a lion is riding a bike and you go home and enjoy the rest of your day. I don’t feed into the stuff at all at the end of the day it’s all entertainment.”

He continued, “so you just hope that people can be smart enough to have a tremendous amount of logic to just and possibly do research or fact check and if they do then great. I just don’t have the time for it, it’s too much going on.”

As we previously reported, Williams accused Hart of being a Hollywood puppet, suggesting that his career success was artificially inflated. In response, Hart took to Twitter, seemingly unfazed by Katt’s comments. “Gotta get that anger up outcha champ…it’s honestly sad. In the meantime…. Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER to my next film “LIFT” which will be dropping on @netflix in 8 days!!!!! There is a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says “They Really Love You” ….I now know she’s talking about “Katt” 😂😂😂 Mark yo calendars world!!!! This one is SPECIAL!!!!”

After people on social media began to see Katt Williams’ interview continued to make rounds on the internet a few people began to bring back a clip of Kevin Hart on the Breakfast Club previously and he spoke about his frustrations with Katt Williams.

“My frustrations with Katt Williams come from you keep pointing at Hollywood but when do you take responsibility for your actions. You had the shot, you were the guy, you were set up to be the star you didn’t show up to work. You f**** off promo shoots, you f***** off your promo trips that they had set for you.”
