Keri Hilson Reminds Us Justin Timberlake Wrote Her Hit “Slow Dance;” He Says: ‘It’s One Of My Favorite Songs I’ve Ever Written’
#Socialites, did you know that Justin Timberlake wrote the Keri Hilson hit “Slow Dance?” If you didn’t Keri proudly schooled folks last night at Timbaland’s 50th birthday party.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Keri and Justin were talking and Justin started belting out, “I don’t,” and Keri finished, “Want to come on too strong.” JT then goes on to say, “That’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written!.” Keri then adds, “They don’t even know, really.”

Keri then gives the real tea on how her massive hit come to fruition. She says, “You gotta let them know. He started off “Slow Dance.” Melody. Lyrics. Hook … That was all this guy. I just brought it home.” JT modestly responds, “It was an honor.” Keri adds, “You gave me the home-run to take it all the way home. You hit, so that I could run.” Agreeing, JT laughs and says, “There you go.” #Socialites, is this your forever jam?
