Kentucky Couple Under House Arrest After Testing Positive For COVID-19

A Louisville, Kentucky couple has been forced to go under house arrest after testing positive for COVID-19. The crazy ordeal unfolded after Elizabeth Linscott tested positive for the novel virus as she was planning to go visit her parents and grandparents.

Subsequent to her positive test results, after showing zero symptoms, Linscott was contacted by the health department to sign documents — which she declined to complete. Later in the week, a county sheriff showed up on Linscott’s doorstep and her husband, Isaiah, says upon opening, “[There was] like eight different people, five different cars, and I’m like ‘what the heck’s going on?’ This guy’s in a suit with a mask. It’s the Health Department guy, and they have three papers for us. For me, her and my daughter.”

Additionally, the couple say they were ordered to wear ankle monitors, and if they travel more than 200 feet, law enforcement officials will be notified. The couple claimed they never denied self-quarantining, they just didn’t agree with the wording of the documents.
