Kenosha Shooter Kyle Rittenhouse Pleads Not Guilty To Seven Charges

Months after fatally shooting two protestors and injuring a third one during a protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kyle Rittenhouse has pleaded not guilty to several charges.

Rittenhouse made an appearance during a Zoom hearing before Kenosha County Court Commissioner Loren Keating, and his attorney, Mark Richards, submitted the not guilty pleas for all charges. The now-18-year-old was charged with multiple felonies such as first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Joseph Rosenbaum; first-degree reckless homicide of Anthony Huber, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide of Gaige Grosskreutz.

Additionally, the young man was also charged with two counts of recklessly endangering safety as reported by the Des Moines Register. Currently, Rittenhouse is staying at an undisclosed address with his mother and lawyer since his release on November 2.

Rittenhouse went viral on social media after he was recorded shooting with an AR-15 rifle towards protestors during the demonstrations. He claimed he was protecting a used car business from looters and acted in self-defense after being encountered by Rosenbaum, Huber, and Grosskreutz.
