On Tuesday, “The Real” promoted their interview with Hough, who talks about her lawsuit against Petty and his wife Nicki Minaj, who allegedly harassed her for years after her ordeal. As we previously reported, in her suit Hough said that the couple pressured her to recant her entire story of the rapper’s husband, Kenneth Petty, sexually assaulting her in 1994.

According to Bossip, Petty’s ex-girlfriend Noelle shares a few words in support of Hough after catching wind of the promotional clip. “I salute anyone that can talk about such a traumatizing situation it’s not easy!! Whether it happened 20 years ago or yesterday!! Especially if the bad guy is still trying to bother the victim…” Noel said in a since-deleted IG Story.

Jennifer Hough said during an appearance with her lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn on “The Real” that she wanted to speak to the public because she’s simply “tired of being afraid.”

“I feel like the actions that were taken in regards to this whole situation put me in a different type of fear at my age, and it was wrong,” Hough told the daytime talk show hosts. “The only way not to be afraid is to continue to speak up.”
