Kendall Jenner appears to be throwing her support behind Jaden Smith, who walked out of Kanye West’s Paris Fashion Week show on Monday after seeing the rapper and his models sporting a “White Lives Matter” shirt at the event. While the reality star and model hasn’t voiced her opinion on the matter publicly, she subtly backed Smith’s stance by liking several of his tweets where he told fans he “had to dip.”
Jenner also liked Smith’s tweet which read, “I don’t care who’s it is if I don’t feel the message I’m out,” followed by “Black Lives Matter.” While the 26-year-old 808 Tequila founder decided to show her support by liking tweets on the social media platform, her longtime pal Gigi Hadid wasn’t as quiet about her thoughts on the situation as she slammed West for what she considered bullying behavior towards Vogue editor Gabrielle Karefa-Johnson.

“You wish u had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha…If there’s actually a point to any of your s–t she might be the only person that could save u,” Hadid wrote. “As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion..? Lol.”
Earlier this week, West had taken to Instagram to call out Johnson for not liking his creative choice with the controversial addition of adding the WLM apparel to his fashion show. In one particular post, the “Stronger” rapper appeared to have mocked Johnson’s attire in a photo where she wore laced-up brown boots and a striped knit skirt.
“This is not a fashion person,” West retorted. “You speak on Ye Ima speak on you Ask Trevor Noah.” He then continued, saying, “I KNOOOOOW ANNA HAAAATES THESE BOOTS.”
West’s comments came after Johnson had taken to her Instagram Story as she sat and watched the father of four’s Yeezy collection, though she was clearly left unimpressed with what she had witnessed. “I’m fuming… collecting my thoughts …,” she wrote.

“I guess I get what he tried to do– he thought it was duchampian. It wasn’t,” she wrote in another IG Story. “It didn’t land and it was deeply offensive, violent and dangerous.”
West has since taken to social media to let it be known that he and Johnson have talked out their differences and all was well between them. He said that while they agreed to disagree, there was no animosity on his part.
