The internet is still processing the news of Ken Urker’s death, and the drama is already getting heavy. Ken’s sister Autumn, who goes by “shortykinss” online, went live on TikTok with her friends Thursday night, right after word got out that her brother had passed.

Through tears, she called out Gypsy Rose Blanchard, the woman who shares a child with her brother. Autumn’s main issue is the story Gypsy has been telling. She said Gypsy had already gone to TMZ and tried to paint a fake narrative about her relationship with Ken, and she flatly rejected the idea that the two were engaged when he died.

Then she brought up Gypsy’s mother. Autumn made it clear she wasn’t going to let Ken’s name be handled the way she believes Dee Dee’s was. “You’re not lying on his name,” she said. For anyone who needs a refresher, Gypsy took part in planning her mother’s killing in 2015 and served about seven years in prison for it.

Autumn also claimed the couple weren’t together when Ken died, saying he was fed up with Gypsy the night before. She added that Gypsy has Aurora, the daughter she shares with Ken, and so got what she wanted.

Gypsy’s own public words have been about mourning and protecting Ken’s name. She told TMZ that Ken was an amazing father, a man who was deeply loved, and that he will forever be her soulmate. She also said he was the target of “relentless cyberbullying” and intense public scrutiny that had a profound impact on him. She said she’ll make sure their daughter grows up knowing who her father really was, and she asked for privacy for her family.

The details around Ken’s death are still unclear. He was found unresponsive at his home on Thursday, October 1, his birthday, and Gypsy’s brother Dylan and his wife reportedly found him when they came to take him to dinner. Gypsy has said she believes he died of an overdose because an unknown substance was allegedly found at the scene, while insisting Ken didn’t have a drug problem. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office says detectives haven’t found any evidence of foul play but haven’t ruled anything out, and an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.

Ken and Gypsy’s story has been messy and public from the start. They connected in 2017 while she was in prison, got engaged in 2018, and split in 2019. She later married Ryan Scott Anderson, then reconnected with Ken after that marriage ended. Their daughter Aurora was born in late December 2024. That little girl is now the center of all this, and she is the one who stands to lose the most while the adults fight it out online.

Until the autopsy results and the investigation come back, we’re left with two grieving families telling different versions of Ken’s final chapter. Everybody in the comments has an opinion, but a man is gone, a baby girl lost her father, and the truth is still being sorted out.
