Kelly Clarkson Taking Over Ellen DeGeneres Daytime TV Show Slot By Fall 2022
It’s being reported that by fall 2022, Kelly Clarkson and her show will take over the daytime TV slot of Ellen DeGeneres and her show, which is concluding after its 19th season.
NBC made the announcement that Clarkson’s self-titled show, which is currently in its second season and airing across all of the network’s markets, is scheduled to replace Ellen’s self-titled show in a little more than a year’s time.

Now, it may not be much of a surprise as we previously reported back in January that Clarkson was being eyed as a front-runner for DeGeneres’ coveted, syndicated time slot — really ever since her own show launched back in Fall 2019 while DeGeneres’ was appearing to fail.
