Kelly Clarkson Set To Host 2020 Billboard Music Awards
Singer Kelly Clarkson is returning as a host for the third year in a row at the Billboard Music Awards, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 29 at 8 PM. ET.
Speaking on her return as host, Clarkson, who also hosts her daytime Kelly Clarkson Show program, says, “I’m thrilled to be back with my Billboard family. I love being part of an event that celebrates our greatest artists and entertains our fans. This a night of music that you won’t want to miss!”

While official nominees and additional celebrity guests have yet to be announced, Garth Brooks is set to receive the Icon Award at this year’s ceremony.
In addition to Clarkson’s hosting for the BBMAs and her own daytime talk show, which was the fall season’s #1 new syndicated show, she also serves as a coach for season 18 of NBC’s multi-Emmy Award-winning musical competition series The Voice.

Additionally, Clarkson is among the most popular artists in this era, possessing more than 25 million albums and 40 million singles.
Furthermore, with Clarkson as host last year, the ceremony averaged a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 8 million viewers, per Nielsens.
