Kelly Clarkson took to her Instagram on Monday to show fans a black hole she uncovered at her Montana ranch, where her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock was allowed to continue staying until June, as part of an agreement reached in their divorce settlement two months ago. The American Idol winner seemed somewhat perplexed when she captioned her post, writing, “Found a large black hole on my ranch and I’m thinking #OuterRange. if I jump in, when and where will I end up? Or who came out of it? So many questions 👀.”
It was just last week when Brandon’s legal team had filed a motion for Kelly to have all of the security cameras at the Montana property switched off for the remainder of his stay, including any CCTV cameras on the ranch and horse trails — a rather odd demand considering the father of her two children is due to move out in several weeks. “Kelly Blackstock shall forthwith turn off all web-cams, trail cams, and any other security cameras at (the address) which are now approximately 13 in total,” the court document from Brandon’s attorney stated.

What’s more, the Never Again hitmaker was also asked that upon having switched off the cameras, she would need to provide evidence and “specify how that was accomplished.” Brandon, who works as a talent manager, has been living at the ranch for years and argued in late 2021 that he hadn’t moved out because he couldn’t afford to live elsewhere. “He has been living in it and said he doesn’t have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce,” a source told US Weekly. As part of their settlement, Brandon is now expected to earn $115k a month in spousal support, a one-time payment of $1.3 million, and $45,000 in child support.
Back in December, Kelly admitted that she missed the red flags that appeared to have been so evident in her relationship with Brandon before their divorce filing, and though she insisted that there were no regrets from their relationship, she credits the experience for having become a much stronger person because of what she’s had to endure.

“I regret nothing. Even unfortunate things that happen in your life or hard things, ’cause we can do hard things,” Kelly said on the Love Someone on Delilah podcast. “But also I feel like that’s what shapes you, it’s what makes you a better person, it’s what makes you recognize: OK I missed those red flags, I missed that, I ignored that on purpose.”
Kelly has reportedly decided not to return to The Voice later this year so that she can spend more time with her children, River and Remington.
