Rumors have been swirling that Kelis, the “Milkshake” singer, is dating actor Bill Murray. The pair has been spotted together in London and Murray has attended several of Kelis’ concerts. However, Kelis has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, and when asked about it on Instagram, she simply replied that she “wouldn’t bother at all” responding to them. This comes more than a year after the death of Kelis’ photographer husband, Mike Mora, from stomach cancer in March 2022.
Likewise, Murray has also suffered a loss with the passing of his second wife in 2021. The rumors of their relationship began after a report from The Sun claimed that the pair had a “whirlwind romance.” However, representatives for Murray did not respond to media requests for comment. Despite this, the rumors have persisted, and many fans are curious about the pair’s possible connection. Kelis and Murray were first involved in controversy in April after Murray was accused of throwing a glass ashtray at a co-star and making multiple women uncomfortable while filming the movie “Being Mortal.”

However, it is unclear if this controversy has any connection to the rumors of their romantic involvement.
In one of her most recent Instagram photos, fans were determined to get to the truth, with one writing, “Bill got you out by riding his wave lol media is destroying y’all. (sic) “Kelis ended up responding, writing: “Lol yeah maybe for now everyone’s dumb and will believe anything but the best part is we are both blessed, rich and happy. So who’s really laughing now that’s funny.”
Another user then continued, “Ma’am would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations?!? Cuz damn! What he doing with all that?!? Kelis responded, saying: “Lol no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all.”

Kelis’ family was heartbroken and saddened to learn of the passing of Mora, who lost his battle with stage 4 stomach cancer at the age of 37. Mora, a professional photographer, had been married to Kelis for eight years and had two children with her, as well as being a stepfather to her son with her first husband, Nas.
Mora shared his diagnosis with his Instagram followers in September 2021, saying that he had been diagnosed with cancer in 2020 after thinking he had a stomach ulcer. He talked about his battle with cancer and encouraged people to make the most of their time with loved ones in an emotional post.
His final posts emphasized the need not to take time with loved ones for granted. Kelis’ reps requested privacy in their statement following Mora’s passing. Meanwhile, Kelis opened up about her experience losing her husband and how it led her to focus on farming and cutting out stress. A year after his passing, she shared how the experience had affected her wellness journey.
