Karen Arrested For Hit-And-Run On Two Young Black Boys
A Long Island woman was arrested on Tuesday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident that left two young boys fighting for their lives.
The Suffolk County police arrested Shannon Palmer, 31, at 5:45 a.m. outside her home on Roosevelt Boulevard. She was charged with two counts for leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury.
Newsday reports that Palmer drove her white Ford Explorer down a road in Ronkonkoma, New York and hit two black kids who were on a play date. One was 9-years-d and the other 12. They were identified as Troy Russell and Toriano Jamison. Palmer didn’t stop and drove off like nothing had happened.
Unfortunately, 9-year-old Troy had to be airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition. He was reportedly left with three broken ribs, broken elbow, broken left thumb, broken left achilles, and his right leg is said to have broken in half.
12-year-old Toriano was also taken to the hospital where he is reported to be suffering from “gaping abdominal gashes,” a head injury, hip fractures. He he also might not be able to walk as he has damage to his lungs and kidneys.
A third boy, I was just six years old, I was left unharmed.
Palmer has since been released despite the horrific nature of the injuries.

SHANNON PALMER DID NOT STOP!
Troy was hit first, then Toriano. Both boys were thrusted 10ft into the woods from impact. Max was scared but knew he had to move fast to get help. He ran half a mile up the block to a neighbor's house. #JusticeForTorianoandTroy pic.twitter.com/QX8GCR0FoJ
