The only two Black women who had teaching positions at Ye’s academy believe they were let go because of their race and also for voicing some red flags about the alleged education, health, and safety code violations. In the suit obtained by TMZ, the women say were initially hired full-time earlier this year and that it didn’t take long for them to have a bunch of problems at the school.

The women alleges that the only lunch option available for students was sushi, and apparently, that was every single day. They also claim that parents were not are not allowed to bring their kids any outside food or drink, except for water. The suit notes that Kanye allegedly spent $10,000 a week on sushi. Furthermore, the teachers claim Kanye’s classes couldn’t even take place on the second floor because Kanye is “afraid of stairs,” and Ye didn’t want children using forks or utensils. To make matters worse, they found it strange that Kanye did not allow crossword puzzles or coloring sheets at Donda Academy. To add to all the wild rules, the teachers even say Kanye did not allow chairs and allegedly forced children to either sit on foam cushions or stand. Other teachers reportedly had to do the same or use a stool.

The suit also states that the Donda Academy required everyone to wear all black even down to the shoes and the brand couldn’t be Nike or Adidas.

In addition to being locked inside the school until the day was over, the suit claims Donda Academy didn’t have a janitor or a school nurse. Student medications were allegedly stored in a closet with other expired medications that were scattered around… dangerous.

On top of alleging there was no actual lesson plan or proper disciplinary procedures which resulted in multiple instances of bullying and physical assaults against peers and teachers, the two teachers claim that they were just threatened when they tried to run the alleged issues with the higher-ups.

As a result of all of this, the women say they were ultimately fired and they believe it’s it was retaliation and racial discrimination. They’re now suing Donda Academy and Kanye for money also since they claim their paychecks were often short up to $2,700 per pay period.

Kanye has not publicly spoken out on these claims.
