Looks like Kanye West is turning over a new leaf. The business and fashion mogul took to social media early Friday morning to share what’s been on his mind and it looks like he’s focusing on peace and forgiveness.
In a post shared on Instagram, Ye said, “Life is precious. Releasing all grudges today leaning into the light.“ While saying that, he also included pictures of Queen Elizabeth in his IG slide following news about her passing on Thursday.
Now, Kanye didn’t expand on his post, but those who follow him know that he had been coming for any and everyone who has been in his way and his business. As we previously reported, last week he returned to the ‘gram with leaked text messages from ex-wife Kim Kardashian as they discussed which school their kids should attend. He also posted a wild meme that read: “Kim has [diarrhea] a lot. Like way more than a normal person should have it,” but Ye chose to cover his wife’s name when re-sharing at the time. Now, despite how shocking but funny that might have been to some, the rapper ended up setting the record straight later and said that the specific post did not come from him: “This was not from me Someone copied my style of text and wrote something not funny [sic].”
Ye had previously been calling out other people on Instagram including Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend and more recently Adidas over creative differences and the alleged use of his products’ style.

Ye hopped on Instagram on June 13 to call out the brand, according to Highsnobiety. In a now-deleted caption, he said Adidas released its Adilette 22 sandals, which bear a bit of a resemblance to West’s Yeezy slides. He said the slides are “a fake YEEZY made by Adidas themselves.”
“I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more,” West continued, per Highsnobiety, taking aim at Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted. “This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll loose [sic] their contract or be called crazy… These shoes represent the disrespect that people in power have to the talent.”
In a follow-up post, Kanye explained why he was not letting anyone play with his name, legacy, or brand again. “Some things are bigger than money,” Ye said alongside a picture of him huddling in an all-black space with children North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago 4, and Psalm, 2. “My kids have no idea what daddy has gone through these past few days alone to secure the brand that will one day be handed down to them God Willing.”
