Kanye West Officially A Presidential Candidate In Utah

The office of State Elections Director Justin Lee has verified that Kanye West is officially a presidential candidate in the state of Utah.

Lee’s office confirmed that West gathered the required 1,000 signatures from registered voters to appear on the state’s ballot this upcoming election season. They add that West will appear as an unaffiliated candidate on the November ballot.

After filing paperwork on July 15 with the Federal Election Commission, the rapper and designer has now qualified in Utah, in addition to Arkansas, Oklahoma and Colorado. Thus far, West has received push back in Wisconsin and New Jersey, whose state and election officials accuse him of submitting phony and fake signatures.

While attempting to get on ballots, earlier this month, West also revealed his running mate, naming self-proclaimed “Biblical Life Coach” Michelle Tidball as his vice president.
