Kanye West has lashed out against Howard Stern after the radio personality said the “Real Friends” rapper “used to be fun crazy” but has since turned into former Austrian-born dictator Adolf Hitler. Stern had made the comment following West’s recent controversies concerning his anti-semitic remarks, which have angered a heap of Jewish people in Hollywood — so much that most of them have since canceled Ye for refusing to apologize.
During his interview on the Lex Fridman Podcast, West had clearly heard what Stern said about him as he addressed the matter, saying, “That’s the whole point, Howard Stern, nobody wants to kiss your d*** so shut the f*** up!’” Furthermore, he expressed that while he was once a fan of the radio vet, West believes that Stern hasn’t been relevant for years and is only making headlines because he spoke out against the rapper.
“Now you’re just doing clickbait like everybody else, now you’re just a sad old man Howard,” he continued. “Howard Stern, this is the first time anyone’s said your name in years – your family doesn’t say your name unless they’re calling to get their bills paid.” West then bizarrely claimed that Stern was “not just jealous of my c***” but also because “I started my campaign earlier than him. You gotta let go of that jealousy, Howard.”
For those who didn’t catch Stern’s initial comment, during his live radio show, the 68-year-old, who remains one of the highest-earning radio personalities in the U.S., targeted West for infuriating the Jewish community by his anti-semitic comments which he then refused to apologize for.
Stern said that while he didn’t necessarily want to be giving West any more attention than what he’s already been getting from the media, he felt as if people were continuously allowing him to say what he wants without having to face consequences because of his mental illness.
“I don’t know much about Kanye West. I’m not big into the rap scene, but he is … I’m really tired of people excusing his behavior by saying, ‘Well, he’s just mentally ill.’” He then asked his listeners why they would appoint a conservator over West the same way they did with Britney Spears if he was really as mentally ill as people claim.
If a newspaper article doesn’t point out the fact that you’re some sort of designer or genius, maybe that’s not because he’s Jewish, but maybe because he just doesn’t put that much thought into who the f*** you are and what your business is,” he stressed. “Kanye used to be fun crazy – now he’s like Hitler.”
