Kanye West Drops New Song Celebrating Invalid Kentucky Election Results
Last night, Kanye West tweeted out some invalid Kentucky election results, showing that he’d garnered over 40,000 votes in the state. Moments later, a Lexington news outlet popped his bubble, revealing the results were a part of a test. Still on a celebratory high, Kanye now drops a new song.
As early voting began in Kentucky on Tuesday, West quickly shared a screenshot of the polling results from a news station’s website, however, the outlet, Lex 18, swooped in with the quickness to clarify that “someone discovered a cached web link.” They wholly stated, “The results shown were not valid. They were simply part of a test. We regret the discovery of the cached web link and have removed the data from that page. We apologize for any confusion.”

Despite West’s tweets, which Twitter immediately slapped a “manipulated media” warning over, he’s still reveling in this invalid glory and dropped a new track, claiming he and his whole team were “so energized” over the results they “had to release theme music.” #Socialites, how’s it sounding?

Despite what @kanyewest is tweeting, he is not leading the race for President in KY. The Associated Press always sends out test numbers to make sure systems are working. It's an automated thing that is posting election results on our website. Sorry viewers. Sorry Kanye.
