Kanye West Donda Album Broke The 2021 Record For Most-Streamed Album And Artist In One Day

After fans waited several weeks for one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, Kanye West’s “Donda” album was finally released on all streaming platforms. Very shocking that his album dropped unexpectedly, but fans woke up to the news Sunday morning to see that the new Ye had finally dropped.

With numbers still rolling in, one thing that can be confirmed is that “On Sunday, August 29, Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ broke the record for the most-streamed album in a day so far in 2021.”

Donda could possibly break more records through out the week, but one thing that has the internet in a large debate is whether or not it will top Drake’s high anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy. Which he revealed by hacking into ESPN’s morning show and showing a poster board ready “CLB September 3rd”.

According to Variety, Kanye West album has taken up 6 of the top 10 spots on Spotify’s Top 200 chart
