After weeks of backlash for first making his inflammable George Floyd comments, then receiving additional backlash for failing to take accountability and say sorry, the artist formerly known as Kanye West is finally apologizing.

Kanye West Apologizes For George Floyd Comment & Thanks God For Humbling Him: ‘I Know How It Feels To Have A Knee On My Neck Now’

Ye was caught outside of his daughter North West’s basketball game the other day, and he told reporters that he feels he is being humbled by God. Ye also says that by him “being burned to flesh,” it’s proof that he’s right.

He then goes on to acknowledge how Black people are condemning him for not apologizing for his comments, and for questioning the Black Lives Matter movement as well.

As paparazzi catch him on Friday (October 28), Ye finally issued an apology to the Black community over his comments about George Floyd.

Ye said: “When I see that video as a Black person, it hurts my feelings. And I know that police do attack [sic] and that America is generally racist. And I understand that when we got to say Black Lives Matter, the idea of it made us feel good together as a people.

Now, afterwards there was some things where the money went in order to push us to the Democratic vote.

So when I questioned the death of George Floyd, it hurt the Black people.. It hurt the Black people. So I want to apologize for hurting them.

Right now, God has shown me, that by what Adidas is doing, and by what the media is doing, I know how it feels to have a knee on my neck now.

So, I thank you God for humbling me, and letting me know how it really felt. Because how could the richest Black men ever be humbled other than to be made to not be a billionaire in front of everyone off a comment. ”

Elsewhere, Ye is still facing a $250 million dollar lawsuit, brought on by the mother of George Floyd’s daughter.

Since his comments about Floyd, and more so from his anti-Semitic comments, Ye has lost partnerships with Balenciaga, Gap, Adidas, Foot Locker, TJ Maxx, Vogue and Anna Wintour, and much more.

The biggest shock was also Forbes removing him from their list of billionaires after his net worth dropped all the way down to $400 million from $2 billion, following his Adidas split.
