Kanye West announced on Twitter that he will be running for president of the United States!(again)

TMZ reports Kanye West tweeted a message about unity and working towards the future. He wrote, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision, and building our future. I am running for president of the United States!#2020VISION” If you remembered, Kanye said during the 2015 VMAs that he would be running for president during his speech for the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award which reflected the message in his tweet.
“I don’t know I’m fittin’ to lose after this. It doesn’t matter though, cuz it ain’t about me. It’s about ideas, bro. New ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”

Elon Musk immediately showed his support for Kanye after the announcement and replied, “You have my full support!” The pair were photographed hanging out three days before the announcement was made(again).
Kanye West hasn’t filed an FEC to run for president this year which is required to be entered in the race.
