Ye and Bianca Preparing Legal Action Over Nitrous Gas Addiction Claims
Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are officially gearing up for a major legal showdown against a Beverly Hills dentist who they say took things way too far. The couple is reportedly ready to file a lawsuit accusing celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly of getting Ye addicted to nitrous oxide — better known as laughing gas — and allegedly trying to exploit him while under the influence.
According to a press release obtained by Page Six, the couple submitted a formal notice on Wednesday as required under California’s medical malpractice laws. That’s the legal first step before officially launching a lawsuit. The notice outlines their intent to sue for medical malpractice, fraud, gross negligence, exploitation, and reckless drug administration.
The release states that back in spring 2024, Dr. Connelly — who refers to himself as the “Father of Diamond Dentistry” — began treating Kanye and allegedly provided him with a cocktail of controlled and uncontrolled substances. The most alarming claim? That he charged Kanye a shocking $50,000 a month just for the nitrous gas.
And that’s not all.
Ye and Bianca claim Connelly used that opportunity to try and take over Ye’s iconic music and fashion empire, Yeezy LLC, while the artist was mentally and physically compromised.
Alleged Exploitation Left Kanye with Trauma, Dependency, and Losses
The claims from the couple go beyond just drug exposure — they’re alleging a full-blown exploitation scheme. In the press release, Ye and Bianca say Dr. Connelly’s alleged actions caused serious damage. That includes:
Neurological and physical injury
Psychological and emotional trauma
Chemical dependency that required treatment
Financial harm and economic losses
Loss of consortium — which refers to harm done to their marital relationship
As of now, California law requires that a defendant be served with a written notice 90 days before a malpractice lawsuit is formally filed. That means if things move forward, we could be looking at a courtroom showdown by summer 2025.
Ye, who legally changed his name from Kanye West, has kept a low profile since these claims started surfacing last year. But this latest move proves he’s not backing down from those he believes tried to take advantage of him.
Milo Yiannopoulos Was First to Reveal Kanye’s Alleged Nitrous Addiction
The public first heard about Kanye’s alleged nitrous addiction last summer, thanks to his controversial associate Milo Yiannopoulos. Back in August 2024, Milo sounded the alarm in a tweet that now looks like it was setting the stage for this lawsuit.
“Connelly got Ye hooked on nitrous — laughing gas. It is my belief that Connelly sought to diminish Ye’s mental faculties so that Connelly and his business associates could extract millions of dollars from him,” Yiannopoulos tweeted.
