Julia Fox’s dad and brother were reportedly arrested at their Manhattan apartment on Wednesday following a home raid where cops found evidence of narcotics manufacturing and a handful of ghost guns.

Police raided the home of Christopher and Thomas Fox as part of an investigation into privately made firearms after being tipped off. But they ended up discovering that the pair, who’ve been taken into custody with their charges still pending, were likewise alleged to be in possession of unidentified pills, pressure cookers, fentanyl, chloroform, and a list of materials commonly used to create explosives.

During the raid, The New York Post claims that cops also found several high-end wine bottles, a pill press, 3D printers, propane, and formaldehyde, which is a strong-smelling flammable chemical that is normally found in glues, disinfectants, automobile parts, and laboratories for the preservation of animal specimens.

News of their arrest will probably come as a shock to the model who is understood to have had no knowledge about her family’s alleged crimes.

In a statement released by an NYPD spokesperson, they said, “At this time, the matter is believed to be contained, with no apparent nexus to terrorism. The NYPD will continue to fight relentlessly against illegal guns – against both the steady proliferation of traditionally-manufactured firearms and the increasingly prevalent numbers of illegal, untraceable but fully functioning weapons known as ghost guns.”

Their arrest comes just four years after Fox gave an interview to High Snobiety, where she referred to her brother as being “like a mad scientist recluse.”

Fox, who was born in Milan, Italy to an Italian mother and American dad, spoke about her upbringing, how her mother decided not to relocate to the U.S. and opened up on the relationship she shares with her two brothers, one of whom is now said to be getting quizzed by cops.

“The 15-year-old lives in Italy with my mom, but the older one grew up with me in New York,” she told the publication in 2019. “He still lives here, but he’s not really around. He’s like a mad scientist recluse. He builds 3D printers for fun.”

Though she spent her early years of life in Italy, Fox later relocated to New York with her father who resided on the Upper East Side. But moving to the Big Apple was far from exciting for the 33-year-old given that her family did not come from a lot of money and were actually homeless at one point. “I actually have lived in almost every single neighborhood – Harlem, Chelsea, everywhere. I moved Downtown when I was 17 and I haven’t left,” she said.

Investigators were reportedly made aware of the ghost guns and drug-making materials after being tipped off following a series of “suspicious” purchases that were made to the address, with neighbors noticing people in Hazmat suits going in and out of the property.
