Juelz Santana Reportedly Denied Travel Request, Feds Claim He Failed Drug Test
Rapper Juelz Santana recently tried to make his way to sunny South Florida but his little trip was denied by a judge all because he allegedly failed his drug test, according to TMZ.

New legal docs say the Dipset MC was asking for permission to fly down to Miami this month “for work.” However, when he asked the court for approval, the feds shot it down because they believe the rap star wasn’t fully following the rules of his supervised release. It was noted in the docs that he wanted to fly to Miami with 2 convicted felons and the Assistant U.S. Attorney also says his recent urine sample tested positive for opiates and methadone.
Despite this, Juelz’s attorney, Jef Henninger, spoke with TMZ to try to set the record straight. He said Juelz will follow the rules for travel requests going forward and will hang out with “the right people.” His camp believes the drug test was a false positive, TMZ reports.
As we previously reported, Juelz is on supervised release after serving 19 months in prison as part of a 27-month sentence in his airport drug case. So, he has to get permission to travel outside NJ and take mandatory drug tests.
UPDATE: Looks like Juelz and his team made it happen because his wife Kimbella posted this to Instagram today:
