A judge has ordered ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Kenya Moore to pay more than $80,000 in unpaid rent and utilities tied to her Atlanta hair spa. The ruling stems from a legal dispute between Moore’s company and the landlord of the commercial property.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Georgia judge ruled that Moore’s business entity, Moore Vision Media, must pay two separate installments totaling $87,976.
The dispute centers around alleged unpaid rent and utilities at the Kenya Moore Hair Spa, which opened in Atlanta in 2024. The landlord, Northland Chamblee LLC, filed suit in October 2025.
Below is a breakdown of the court ruling and the claims made by both sides.
Court Orders Kenya Moore’s Company to Pay $87,976 in Unpaid Rent and Utilities
Court documents indicate that a Georgia judge ordered Moore Vision Media to pay $43,988 by late February. The court further required an additional payment of $43,988.67 by late March. Together, those amounts total $87,976.
In addition to the lump-sum payments, the judge ordered Moore’s company to continue paying approximately $5,500 per month in rent. This requirement remains in place until the company either vacates the property or the matter is otherwise resolved.
The ruling followed claims made by the landlord,
Northland Chamblee LLC, which alleged that the business stopped paying rent in December 2024. The lawsuit also included claims regarding unpaid utilities under the terms of the lease agreement.
A couple of weeks after the judge issued the order, the landlord alleged that Moore’s company failed to make the first required installment payment by the court’s deadline. As a result, the landlord demanded immediate possession of the property. At this time, the court has not ruled on that specific request.
The case remains active, and additional proceedings may determine whether the property will be vacated or if further financial penalties will apply.
