Judge Orders Henry Ruggs Back To Court After He Missed Mandatory Alcohol Test
A Las Vegas judge ruled former Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III to appear before her on Monday after it was brought to her attention that he missed a mandatory alcohol test while on house arrest following a deadly crash he’s accused of resulting in by driving drunk at speeds up to 156 mph.

Ruggs could encounter a return to jail. A judge who put his bail at $150,000 warned Ruggs immediately that if he didn’t comply with release restrictions he faced rearrest.
Ruggs is under home confinement where he has to use electronic monitoring for four-times-a-day alcohol checks. He is expected to respond to a telephone call or text indication by blowing into a device that tests his blood-alcohol level. Reports show he lives at a $1.1 million home not far from where the crash took place.

As we previously reported, According to Hector Majia, a Las Vegas News Reporter for 8 News Now, Steve Wolfson retained more statements on charges filed against Ruggs. Wolfson, a Clark County District Attorney, provided reporters information of a second felony DUI and reckless driving charge against Ruggs. If he is found guilty, Ruggs won’t be able get probation. He must serve a prison sentence of at least two years.
Per Wolfson, the former Raiders wide receiver could face up to 50 years in prison.
