Judge Allows Tekashi 69 To Film Music Videos In His Backyard

It looks like Tekashi is about to drop some new heat from his backyard after a judge granted him permission to go outside of his house while he is on home confinement for the remainder of his sentence.

According to TMZ, Judge Engelmayer granted permission “to conduct employment-related activities outside of the residence but within the confines of the rented property.”

In the legal documents, the judge notes that Tekashi can perform employment-related activities for two hours per week with one specific day as long he has advanced approval from his probation officer. His activities are “limited to no more than an 8-hour period per day.”

As we reported, the rapper’s lawyers sent a letter to the judge requesting permission for him to be able to go into his own backyard so that he can film music videos.

“I am writing today only to request the court’s approval to permit Mr. Hernandez to spend up to two hours in his backyard, once a week, for employment purposes only,” read the letter sent to federal Judge Paul Engelmayer. “He is looking to record music videos. Probation is aware and has no objection to this request.”

Tekashi took to his Instagram to tease the date May 8th, most likely a new video will drop with the good news from the judge.
