JT is providing some clarity on the viral BET Awards moment with boyfriend Lil Uzi.
As many can recall, a video showed the City Girls rapper throwing her phone at the rapper during a heated argument at the Awards show. Many assumed that JT was bothered that he not only named-dropped Ice Spice during his live performance but sat next to her after he wrapped up.
However, JT is letting everyone know that was not the case. The Miami rap star said during an appearance on the Breakfast Club, “The reason I threw my phone at Uzi is because he had to perform. So we get in there, and baby, I’m so sorry when I say this. Uzi is like a frantic kid. He moves around a lot… and he [plays] a lot. So when he got off stage, he came to me like, ‘Come on. Let’s go, let’s go,’” JT explained. “Then I had on this big a** dress. So I’m thinking [he’s] leaving and about to send somebody back to come and get me. When I get up, he down there chillin’ with [A$AP] Bari!”
She went on to say, “It was never about another artist because an artist is supposed to be there. It was never about that. It’s about that you made sure that Bari was in his seat.”

“Me and Uzi went back into the awards show and he sat directly back next to Ice Spice and I sat where Bari was sitting so it was never a problem, but people don’t report that. And I have to go on there and people make me get mad at this girl like ‘Oh you mad, you jealous’
Speaking more about the rumors that claimed she was mad over Ice Spice, JT said, “You ain’t even hear me say nothing ‘bout woman, girl, b**ch, nothing. Like girl, sis…nothing. Even when I walked up, I said hi to her,” JT further explained. “I talked to her when we walked back in, and we sat back down. We watched the Migos… I talked to her. I’m like, ‘Hey, what’s up.’”
Aside from the BET awards drama, Jt, and Lil Uzi are still going strong and so are Yung Miami and her boo Diddy.
