Looks like the “Nope” director Jordan Peele wasn’t feeling one of his fans calling him the best horror director of all time.

“I know this is a hot take but at what point do we declare Jordan Peele the best horror director of all time?” wrote comic book creator Adam Ellis on Twitter today. “Can you think of another horror director that had 3 great films, let alone 3 in a row? I can’t.”

With that response Peele was paying homage John Carpenter who directed “Halloween,” “Christine” and “The Thing” fame. But Ellis went further to even try and prove to Peele that all his movies are hits. The comic book creator pulled some receipts from Rotten Tomatoes and showed where his first 3 movies ranked. “Get Out” (98%), “Us” (93%) and “Nope” (89%).

Jordan Peele has taken Hollywood by storm since he released his hit film Get Out in 2017 and now fans are extremely excited to see the work of his new project “Nope.” The talented director brought in Keke Palmer and Daniel Kaluuya to star in the film and fans feel it will already be another hit movie added to his list.
