Jonathan Owens Opens Up About Amazing Girlfriend Simone Biles — Says He Had No Idea Who She Was When They First Started Dating
During the third episode of Simone Biles’ Facebook Watch docu-series, “Simone vs Herself,” her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens opened up about their relationship, revealing he had no idea who she was when they first met.

While detailing the early days with Biles, the NFL player said that he knew she was an athlete but wasn’t aware that she was a major. gymnast. He explained, “Her work ethic was really the first thing that caught my eye,” Owens said. “I never really watched gymnastics before I first started talking to her. When I met her, I honestly didn’t know who she was.”
The Houston Texans safety went on to say, “It was just like, ‘Oh, she has a lot of followers — she must be pretty good or something,'” he added. “That’s how I would tell people and they’d be like: ‘Simone Biles?! You for real, the gymnast?!’ And I’m like ‘Man, she’s good like that?!'”
