Johnny Depp’s Friend Claims ‘Sociopathic Show Pony’ Amber Heard Enjoyed Abusive Fights With Ex-Husband

Johnny Depp’s longtime friend Gina Deuters believes that his ex-wife Amber Heard is a “sociopathic show pony” who relished in her violent fights with the actor throughout their relationship. The bold accusation comes just one week after Amber took to the stand to give her testimony at a courthouse in Fairfax, Virginia, where she claimed that Johnny was the one who perpetuated the fights, adding that she only ever hit him in self-defense.

Well, Gina sees things differently in her recent interview with Page Six. She’s known the Pirates of the Caribbean star for decades since she is the wife of Johnny’s longtime business partner Stephen Deuters, meaning she and her husband were present during the actor’s volatile 15-month marriage with Amber. And during her chat with the aforementioned publication, she stressed that Johnny was the real victim and that Amber appeared to enjoy causing havoc on her former flame.

“I think there is a part of Amber that [believes] fighting is passion,” Gina, who previously testified in court last month, explained. “It means there’s sparks, fireworks [in the relationship]. [Amber] is someone who is always used to getting what she wants. She is quite entitled and I think she made big demands in their divorce. When [Amber] was denied those demands, I feel she was like, ‘I am not going to get what I want so I am going to destroy you.’” It was her husband who became the mediator in the final weeks of Johnny and Amber’s marriage, though it appeared as if their relationship had gotten so toxic, it was evidently clear there was no chance of saving the marriage.

Johnny sued his ex-wife for $50 million, saying that the 2018 Washington Post op-ed Amber wrote about being a domestic abuse survivor one year after their divorce implied she was referring to Johnny, though she never actually named the father-of-two by his name. The Aquaman star went on to countersue for a whopping $100 million, but from how the trial has played out in the past few weeks, things don’t seem to be going in her favor by any means.

Following a week-long hiatus, Johnny and Amber will return to court this week as the latter begins her cross-examination. She is expected to answer questions about her past “abusive” relationship with ex-girlfriend Tasya van Ree, who she reportedly assaulted in 2009 at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington. Amber was arrested for the incident.

A spokesperson for Johnny has since spoken out, saying that their client’s ex-wife’s statements in court have seen Amber give “the performance of her life,” and her recollection of events seems to be all over the place. “While Ms. Heard’s stories have continued to grow new and convenient details, Mr. Depp’s recollections have remained the same throughout the six painful years since her first allegations were made,” they said.

“The upcoming cross-examination from Mr. Depp’s team will be most telling, and will certainly highlight the many fallacies Ms. Heard has now attempted to pass off as fact throughout her convoluted testimony.”
