Say What? Joe Rogan Accuses Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Of Using Steroids, Tells Actor To ‘Come Clean’

Joe Rogan thinks Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has steroids to thank for his physique and has urged the former wrestler to come clean about his alleged use of the muscle-building drug. In a recent episode on his podcast, the 55-year-old had been discussing the controversy surrounding fitness star Liver King, who was recently outed in a series of emails that revealed he’d been ordering steroids to increase his muscle mass, prompting him to post an apology to his fans.

Liver King claimed his well-built figure was down to an “ancestral diet,” which consisted of bull testicles, beef brains, and animal livers, though it would later come to light that his weekly intake of steroids greatly contributed to his sturdy shape. During his chat with More Plates More Dates influencer Derek, Joe then shifted his attention to Dwayne, who he says is more than likely using steroids but has yet to admit to it.

“The Rock should come clean right now,” he said, adding that Dwayne, who is now in his 50s, is in a much better shape than he was in his 30s, which he would have only been able to achieve through the use of steroids — at least according to Joe. “There’s not a f*****g chance in hell he’s clean. Not a chance in hell. As big as The Rock is, at 50? There’s a responsibility you have to people who are listening to you. If you don’t want to talk about it, that’s one thing.”

“But if you do talk about it, there’s a responsibility you have to people listening to you and I think you have to be honest about it, which is why I’m honest about it. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with taking hormone replacement.”

Joe’s concerns appeared to be more focused on the possibility that Dwayne is using steroids but is seemingly making his fans believe that his muscle gains are all from working out and sticking to a strict diet. And if it does turn out that the “San Andreas” star is getting some additional help to attain the physique he wants, Joe feels that his fans and supporters shouldn’t be deceived about it.

Back in November, Dwayne revealed that he refused to wear muscle padding for his role in “Black Adam,” which made him work so much harder in the gym to be in the best shape possible before filming commenced.

“What’s interesting is we could have said, ‘F**k this—put the muscle pads in the suit,’ as they normally do,” the father of three told Men’s Health. “And it’s not a knock to my friends at all, but I felt like, “Let’s be disruptive and let’s do it differently.” Let’s take all the muscle pads out, which we did, from Black Adam.

“When you have that suit on, every detail shows. Man, it was constant work, constant tweaking, tweaking, tweaking for months.”
