Joe Exotic’s husband Dillon Passage was arrested over the weekend for a DWI in Travis County, Texas.

According to TMZ, the second husband of “Tiger King” star Joe Exotic was stopped by police early Sunday morning shortly after 3 a.m. and failed his sobriety test. Passage was arrested and transported to a local jail where he was booked for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Prior to the arrest, Passage uploaded a video on his Instagram story where he attended an event that night.
Joe Exotic told the media outlet that he has tried to stop his husband from drinking excessively and said “I’ve tried my hardest to get him to quit drinking, I love him.”

Exotic is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for putting out a hit on rival Carole Baskin but he continues to deny the accusation. Before his sentencing, Joe Exotic married Dillon Passage in December 2017 two months after Joe’s first husband, Travis Maldonaldo, accidentally shot himself.
Passage has yet to release a statement about his arrest since he is still booked at the jail.
