Joe Exotic Reportedly Transfers From Coronavirus Isolation To Prison Medical Center
Earlier in the week, the husband of “Tiger King’s” Joe Exotic told Andy Cohen that the star had previously been isolated at the Grady County Jail in Chickasha, Oklahoma, over coronavirus concerns. During the interview with Dillon Passage, the 24-year-old bartender did not not state whether Exotic had tested positive for COVID-19.

However, according to the latest reports by The New York Post, Inmate records show Thursday that Joseph “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, has been transferred to the Federal Bureau of Prisons-operated Federal Medical Center Forth Worth in Texas.
“He is no longer here at this facility,” a Grady County staffer shared with The Post but did not provide any further details. As we previously reported, the big animal lover is currently serving a 22-year sentence for not only falsifying wildlife records, but also for violating the Endangered Species Act by killing five tiger cubs. In addition to that, he also has federal charges for a 2017 murder-for-hire scheme targeting Big Cat Rescue founder and arch-nemesis Carole Baskin, The Post notes.
Upon hearing the news, fans of the controversial star took to social media to express their shock over the latest turn of events. While some fans assumed he has the virus, others have been offering prayers.
Many jail facilities across the country have started releasing inmates due to the coronavirus. California alone is expected to release 3,500 inmates early. Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is the latest star to be released due to the pandemic.
