After their back and forth online it looks like Joe Budden is revealing what was said behind the scenes.
In a new episode of the ‘Joe Budden Podcast,’ the ‘Pump It Up’ rapper addressed him and Drake’s viral drama and revealed that Drake sent him a 55 second voice memo that he didn’t listen to and then he also read through their alleged messages in the DM. “Take a chill pill Anthony and have a drink, throw on some instrumentals and write one of those ‘do ya thing let me do my thing’ joints for old times sake. A little radio play would do you some good papa.” After reading the message out loud Joe Budden wanted to make it clear that he doesn’t have beef with anybody. “I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I don’t have smoke I don’t have beef I don’t even get the message but cool.” Then Joe Budden proceeds to read how he responded to Drake’s dm.

“I’m not sure why you went crazy like that. I like the album this ain’t 2016 I ain’t got no beef. Get ya sh*t off dog. As a matter of fact if nobody’s happier for you than me,” joe said. He fountained to say that he won’t read all the dm’s because some are personal but he shared that Drake messaged he again and said, “you bringing up my friends and the b*tches I f*ck like you know anything about that.”
“Keep it music,” Drake allegedly continued. “I don’t give a f*ck what you listen to in your free time because the people’s opinion is what I care about don’t have free time. I also don’t care if you like or dislike something but don’t talk about my life no sh*t like you trying to plant some seed or paint some narrative to get people to go against me.”

As we previously reported, Joe Budden spoke out saying how disappointed he was for Drake’s newest album and said that he misses the times Drake would rap “for the rappers” and slammed him for hanging out with people who are not his age, like streamer Kai Cenat. Drake responded to Joe Budden and said, “You have failed at music. You left it behind to do what you are doing in this clip cause this is what actually pays your bills. For any artist watching this just remember you are watching a failure give their opinion on his idea of a recipe for success…a quitter give their opinion on how to achieve longevity…you switched careers cause the things that pop into your brain had you broke living cheque to cheque and the raps you write had 450 men showing up to your shows in dusty Enyce jeans to screw up their face to Mood Muzik 29 and pretend you are the goat…pls to any artist that’s doing what they feel is right don’t let these opinions affect your mindset after the fact…”
