Joe Biden Reveals Upcoming Tax Increase For Those Who Make $400K

While Joe Biden made good on his promise to  distribute $1,400 Stimulus checks, it seems he hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to increase taxes.

You might think you’re already paying too much in taxes, but, the slight increase will allegedly only affect those who are making $400,000 or more a year. Biden has promised that anyone making less will not see a penny increase.

Biden made the promise while speaking to ABC’s “Good Morning America,”

“Yes, anybody making more than $400,000 will see a small to a significant tax increase,” Biden said. “If you make less than $400,000, you won’t see one single penny in additional federal tax.”

Republican votes are unlikely for such a bill, but Biden said that wouldn’t hinder his plans.

“I may not get it, but I’ll get the Democratic votes for a tax increase. If we just took the tax rate back to what it was when [George W.] Bush was president — [when] the top rate paid 39.6 percent in federal taxes — that would raise $230 billion. Yet they’re complaining because I’m providing a tax credit for child care for the poor, from middle class?”
