Kelly O’Donnell, a reporter for NBC News, apparently ignored President Biden’s request to avoid asking unrelated questions during a press conference about the United States ending its combat mission in Iraq. O’Donnell asked about recent reports about the Department of Veteran Affairs requesting their employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine. In response, President Biden said: “You are such a pain in the neck. But I’m going to answer your question because we’ve known each other for so long. It has nothing to do with Iraq,” The president was also hosting Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi when O’Donnell asked the question at the Oval Office as reported by the New York Post.
O’Donnell said in a tweet that Biden continued to ignore her other questions about the vaccine after he called her a “pain in the neck.”
