Season three of New Amsterdam is finally here and we spoke exclusively with Jocko Sims about what how season two and what fans can expect for whts to come.
Season two sadly came to an ubrupt stop as the pangimic caused many productions to stop filming for sfaty reasons. While the shutdown was necessary, the story line of many of the fan favorites left questions as to who was going to come back and when and if there would be a season three.

For Jocko’s character Dr. Reynolds, he ended season two moving to San Francisco with his fiance, but as fans will come to see, he’s returned to assist the doctors at Bellevue Hospital.
It’s abundantly clear that this pandemic has changed the reality of what people will see on television so there was no surprise when we found out that season three would cover some of those topics.
One thing that Ryan Eggold’s character Dr. Max Goodwin forucses on this season is the phrase “how can I help?” so when speaking to Jocko, we alks all about how he helped during the pandemic as well s what fans can expect from this season and his character Dr. Reynolds.
