Jimmy Kimmel Suggests Unvaxxed Shouldn’t Get ICU Beds: ‘Rest In Peace, Wheezy!’
This week, Jimmy Kimmel returned to hosting his late-night television show, where he said he does not think unvaccinated people should get ICU beds.
While ranting about inflated COVID-19 rates Kimmel said, “Dr. Fauci said if hospitals get any more crowded, they’re going to have to make some very tough choices about who gets an ICU bed. That choice doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
He then joked, “Vaccinated person having a heart attack? Yes, come right on in, we’ll take care of you. Unvaccinated guy who gobbled horse goo? Rest in peace, wheezy.”
According to data from John Hopkins University, there were 1.146 million weekly COVID cases this past weekend compared to 287,235 last year. Meanwhile, according to the New York Post, the number of cases has risen drastically, so have the average number of daily deaths, which jumped more than 131 percent. In addition to this, the number of hospitalizations and patients in ICU beds has been rising along with everything else.
