YK Osiris is making headlines again but not for kissing someone without consent… this time it’s because he allegedly ran off with a $20K watch!
Popular jeweler Seth Grossman spoke with TMZ and shared the entertainer never paid him for a $20,000 Audemars Piguet watch he agreed to buy years ago.
He explained to the outlet that fellow singer Sean Kingston connected him with YK in 2020 before the COVID lockdowns. Seth says YK convinced him to sell the AP that he was wearing. After doing some research on him and realizing he was a legit artist, he sent him an invoice for the timepiece. YK reportedly took his bank accountant information so he could wire the $20K. However, Seth claims he’s yet to see a penny…
Seth goes on to tell the outlet that YK was being responsive when they were initially trying to sort things out. But YK started giving him the runaround and then allegedly changed his number. Now get into this! While trying to confront YK, the singer reportedly threw his friend Big Sean under the bus and even claimed he returned the watch to him… something that Seth said never happened. That’s not all y’all: Seth claims that YK also blamed his own father for stealing all his jewelry as payment for managing his son.
What Does Seth Plan To Do Next?
Although Seth, founder of Essential Watches would rather pour his time and energy into running his Bev Hills boutique, 90210 Watches, he’s still deciding whether he wants to take legal action against YK Osiris.
The artist has not yet responded to these latest allegations. Meanwhile this situation comes a few months after he made headlines for kissing Sukihana without her consent, something he received massive backlash for.
As we previously reported, he eventually apologized to the rapper and said, “I want to publicly offer my sincerest apology to Sukihana. In an attempt to be playful, I misread the moment and violated Sukihana’s boundaries. I understand the importance of consent and I am embarrassed by my behavior. I take full responsibility and have made multiple attempts to apologize. I have the utmost admiration for Sukihana and it was never my intention to disrespect her.”
Sukihana eventually forgave him and people seemed to have gotten over that very awkward moment.
