Jessica White Defends Ex Nick Cannon & Claps Back At Trolls Who Claim She’ll “Never Be His Baby Mama” Because She’s “Not His Type”
Jessica White had time today! The supermodel is not only defending her ex-boo Nick Cannon but she’s also setting the record straight about their relationship.
Over the weekend, we posted a poll that included Travis Barker playing the drums next to a video of Nick Cannon doing the same in the film “Drumline.” While fans debated who had the better skills, White commented, “So many loud and wrong comments…. Nick definitely plays the drums as well as several other Instruments. He was a trained musician before Acting.”

Fans were quick to question why White was defending Nick after she revealed in an interview last year with Jason Lee that she was in the middle of dealing with her own pregnancy loss when she found out that her then-boyfriend Nick was expecting a baby with another woman. However, White had a response for the folks who wanted to be all up in her business. She replied: “oh you guys are so feisty. It’s the same comments all the time. ‘I’ll never be his baby momma because I’m not his type, he played you, why are you taking up for him, he don’t want you girl!’ I understand we live in a world where it’s popular to hate your “ex “but I’m not nor will I ever be that girl. I’m sorry if my ability to show kindness bothers you. I simply stated facts to those who said he couldn’t play the drums… What’s so wrong with that?!”
She went on to say,
“Lol and didn’t disrespect Travis’s talent in any to those who said I did. Nor did I compare the 2 as they are both very talented musicians. I just know Nick deserves more credit as an artist than he gets. That’s all! Now I’ll leave you all back to saying how stupid I am for not being in the comments and dogging him.”
The Sports Illustrated model had been in an on-again, off-again relationship with The Masked Singer host but it appeared they officially called things off when Brittany Bell – a woman from Nick’s past unexpectedly announced she was pregnant with his child last June. Despite all of that, it’s clear that White is moving forward and has no hard feelings towards him.
