We know that’s right! Jennifer Lopez isn’t playing about her actor/director husband Ben Affleck as she warns anyone trying to flirt with him to “step all the way off,” adding, “Do not play with me.”
While promoting her ninth album ‘This Is Me… Now,’ along with its accompanying visual album ‘This Is Me… Now: A Love Story,’ J.Lo kept it all the way real about her feelings of jealousy when it comes to her man, her man, her man.
During a promo stop at ‘Today With Hoda & Jenna‘ on Thursday (February 15), J.Lo played a game with the show’s co-host Hoda Kotb called “This Is Me… Now, or Then?” One of the questions Kotb asked Lopez was about jealousy in her marriage.

Kotb transitioned into the question saying, “The next [is] topic – ‘Gets Jealous If Someone Hits on Your Significant Other.” Lopez flipped her cue card that showed either “Now” or “Then.” While showing the cameras the “Now” side, Lopez added, “Don’t play with me. Do NOT play with me.”
When asked what she would ever do if she saw someone trying to flirt with her husband, Lopez gracefully warned, “I’m a lover, not a fighter, but I would let them know in a very elegant and ladylike way to step all the way off.”

Later during the game, Lopez also talked about still learning each other and having arguments in her marriage. She admitted to “not liking confrontation.” She added, “I do not like arguing. I do not like confrontation in that way.”
She also admitted that she may offer a cold shoulder and “pull away a bit,” but she doesn’t really like to do that either. She explained, “I like discussing things in a calm, loving way. How can we do that? How do we get there?”

In 2022, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally wed after nearly two decades after they ended their first engagement in 2004. Since reconciling, the two have been going strong, leading to J.Lo’s sequel album, ‘This Is Me… Now,’ released 20 years after ‘This Is Me… Then.’
Both albums are heavily influenced by the love J.Lo has for Affleck and vice versa, and the latest project is a dedication to her man, whose voice is also featured in the upcoming Prime Video visual album.
