Looks like the internet is trying to give Jennifer Lopez a hard time after receiving a big bag for her new alcohol brand “Delola.”
Two days ago, Lopez shared a video of herself announcing her new brand and captioned the post: “The secret is out!!! I’m proud to share with @Delola … my new collection of unique, mixology-level ready to enjoy spritzes. More is #OnTheJlo. Let’s live the #DelolaLife together.”

After sharing her announcement fans quickly jumped in comments to express that they are “disappointed” and “confused.” One of the top comments on the post reads, “Wow. I’m so disappointed and confused by the narrative that she is puts out about how she doesn’t drink alcohol and all the benefits from not drinking. And her partner is sober? It doesn’t’t matter what type of “good for you ingredients” and “healthy labels” (gluten free) is in alcohol it’s still a carcinogenic toxin. ]
The Instagram comment continued to explain how it would’ve been better for her to release a non-alcoholic brand. “It would have been really cool if she could show that she can still enjoy life with a non-alcoholic beverage. Again, celebrities and Hollywood pushing a narrative that you need to consume alcohol to have fun and enjoy life.
Fans are extremely shocked by the fact that her husband, Ben Affleck is a recovering alcoholic which is partly what is said to have caused his split from his ex Jennifer Garner. As we previously reported, Affleck has been open about his struggles with alcoholism. He first sought treatment in 2001 and has had several publicized incidents related to alcohol since then.
In 2017, he announced that he had completed treatment for alcohol addiction, but later admitted to relapsing. In 2018, he again sought treatment for alcohol addiction and has been in recovery since then. Affleck has spoken publicly about the challenges of living with addiction and the importance of seeking help and support.
Now if you know Lopez she doesn’t pay the hater any mind and some people feel she might not have even thought about it that deeply. One Instagram user under her comments expressed how Lopez is still an inspiration to many people in the world.
