Former “Teen Mom” star, Jenelle Evans’ son Jace was reported missing today, according to TMZ. The 14-year-old was last seen leaving school in North Carolina around 2:45pm. But thankfully he has been located now.
Authorities were searching for Jace and revealed that he was wearing a gray sweatshirt with the words “Classical Charter Schools of America,” on the shirt. Evans reportedly told the news outlet that her son was just mad because she took his phone. “As a boy mom, kids can act up and rebel as I’m sure the majority of us all once did as kids too,” she explained. “Jace, got in trouble at school, we decided to take his phone away and that’s when he decided to run off, Jace is a good kid and we’re not dealing with anything that most families don’t deal with while raising children.” She also wanted to make it clear that his disappearance has “absolutely nothing to do” with her ongoing marital issues with husband David Eason. “We do not argue in front of our children or fight in front of our kids,” she continued. “This is a teenage boy being a teenager mad that we decided to take his phone away.”

As we all know, Jenelle’s journey began when she was featured on the second season of the reality show “16 and Pregnant” in 2010. This led to her being cast in the spin-off series “Teen Mom 2,” which premiered in 2011. The show followed the lives of Jenelle and several other young mothers as they navigated the challenges of parenting while dealing with their own personal issues.
Throughout her time on the show, Jenelle faced numerous legal troubles, including arrests for drug possession, assault, and probation violations. Her relationships, particularly her on-and-off relationship with various partners, also drew significant attention. She had a turbulent relationship with her mother, Barbara Evans, who often cared for her son Jace, as well as her other children as she had them.
Jenelle’s participation in “Teen Mom 2” continued for several seasons, during which she faced criticism and backlash from viewers and the media for her behavior and choices. In 2019, she was eventually dropped from the show by MTV following her husband’s involvement in a controversial incident.
