In a sit-down interview with Nia Long, Jeezy opened up about his female babysitter molesting him when he was a child.

In the new interview that was released on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, the rapper didn’t hold anything back while speaking on his childhood trauma. Jeezy, 46, recalls the unnamed woman “touching and doing things” to him that “don’t normally happen to kids.” Long, 53, then asked the rapper to explain more about the situation and asked if he had been molested and he responded saying, “Right, basically.”

“I was introduced to sex at a very young age,” he added in the “I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget” video, which is titled after his latest album.

In more shocking news, while speaking about his childhood the rapper also got candid about when he went over to a friend’s house and witnessed his friend’s father shoot his wife multiple times. “It just stuck with me,” the “Seen It All” rapper admitted. “Before I was 8, I had already accepted this was the norm. I was already desensitized.

“It gave me, like, this thing to always protect myself,” he said, to which Long added, “Because nothing felt safe.”

One of the main parts of the interview that made rounds on social media was when Jeezy spoke about the shocking news that he was filing for divorce from Jeannie Mai. As we previously reported, Mai was left “devasted” after Jeezy called it quits and she was hoping that they would be able to work things out. During the interview with Long Jeezy revealed that they tried to go to therapy but that still didn’t help their marriage.

“I can tell you that I’m saddened. I can tell you I’m disappointed. I can tell you that I’m uneasy,” Jeezy said while speaking about how he felt about the whole situation. “I can only do what I can do. I can’t expect someone else to do what I’m doing.”

Jeezy added that he is on a “different” path than Mai, which is going to “entail for [him] to take care of [himself] and love [himself].”
