Jeannie Mai Reflects On Co-Parenting With Jeezy And Its Challenges
Since finalizing their divorce, Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have kept their private lives and any issues behind closed doors relatively private. On Thursday (July 24), Jeannie is now reflecting on her co-parenting situation with her ex-husband Jeezy, discussing the challenges, and sharing encouraging words for other mothers who “share their children.”
While sharing a carousel post on her Instagram feed, titled “Postcards from France,” Jeannie captioned the post, “To all my co-parenting mamas out there: You’re proof that love can thrive in any situation ❤️.”
In her slideshow of photos and videos with on-screen captions, Jeannie Mai began, “Every time Coco is with her other home, I take this time for me. This is what co-parenting looks like: a heart split in two places, but still learning how to beat fully.”
In a second post, she continued, “It’s harder than I ever imagined: loving her so much, but loving her from far away. There’s no guidebook for this part of motherhood.”

In a third and fourth post, she added, “I sit here, and I let the ache be what it is. Missing her is part of the job, but so is filling myself back up so I have more love to give when she runs back to me. So, I college little joys — a Hugo spritz, a warm sunbeam, a splash into the Mediterranean Sea — because this joy will be hers, too. When she feels it radiate through me.”
In a fifth post, Jeannie Mai declared, “This time alone reminds me: I’m not just a mom. I’m a woman who dreams, who laughs, who lives. And she deserves to see that woman fully alive.”
In a fifth and sixth post, Jeannie Mai concluded with any encouraging message to other co-parenting mothers. She stated, “To every mama sharing her child, this is your reminder: your happiness is not separate from theirs. When you shine, they feel it, too.”
