During a recent livestream on her social media, Jayda Cheaves was speaking with her fans, at which time someone brought up their celibacy journey and admitted that they slipped up and had sex. The social media personality and entrepreneur, who has previously spoke about her own celibacy journey in January 2023, continued to offered the fan some advice.

While sitting in her bed and speaking with her fans, Cheaves attempted to uplift her supporter and make them feel a little better about their slip up. Before her fans, Cheaves read aloud the fan’s comment, “I messed up my 2-year celibacy for 3 minutes.” Reacting to the admisison, the WAYDAMIN founder quickly replied to her fan and said, “It doesn’t count. It doesn’t count, girl!”

Cheaves continued to explain her reasoning, stating, “Anything under 3 minutes, doesn’t count — and if you used a condom, it really doesn’t count. You good! You can still say you’re celibate.” Despite Jayda Cheaves’ strong opinion and stance on her belief, social media shared their own opinions while reacting to her comments.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) said, “I am gonna make the same argument when I get found out for cheating. Thanks!” Another similarly wrote, “B*tches say silly sh*t like this ’til you f**k another b*tch under three minutes with a condom on.” A third user wrote, “Nah, it counts … the moment you opened your legs.” A fourth added, “That ai’t how it works love.”

Another user compared Jayda Cheaves’ “it doesn’t count” remark to another internet personality and actress Draya Michele‘s past comments about her “h*eness being deleted.”

While appearing on Power 105’s ‘The Breakfast Club‘ morning show in September 2012, Michele professed that she can no longer be considered “a h*e” because she hadn’t slept with anyone a while. She said, “I think a h*e is someone that sleeps with everyone… I don’t think I’m considered a h*e no more. I don’t really got nobody in the last 2 or 3 years. Your h*eness can get deleted. I am in a total drought.”
